A medical device R&D firm needed a 0.3mm 'D-shaped' bio-compatible wire for a catheter steering mechanism. Traditional die-making methods could not hold the required 5-micron profile tolerance at that scale.
Titan utilized high-precision Micro-EDM combined with a proprietary sub-micron wire polishing technique. We manufactured the dies in a temperature-controlled environment to prevent thermal expansion errors.
